Cold-working processes like wire drawing introduce internal stresses that increase strength but may sacrifice ductility. Our annealing process uses precise temperature-controlled heating to effectively eliminate these stresses, restoring flexibility and ductility while homogenizing the metallic grain structure.
Advanced Annealing Methods
▪ Continuous Annealing: Utilizing reel-to-reel or strand transport, the wire passes through a heat-treatment furnace for efficient and uniform online annealing.
▪ Batch Annealing: Static annealing of small batches in specialized industrial furnaces, ideal for specific R&D or small-scale production needs.
To prevent material oxidation at high temperatures, we use high-purity protective atmospheres, selecting gases such as hydrogen (reducing), nitrogen, argon, or helium based on material characteristics. We handle everything from R&D-grade micro-samples to full-scale mass production orders, with available custom spooling and precision cutting services.
